Vintage 20s to 30s Black Lace Art Deco Evening Dress
Dating to the very late 1920s or early 1930s this beautiful vintage lace evening dress is very figure flattering. The neckline features deep v's both front and back that are echoed at the dropped waistline with an inverted v, emphasized by inset bands of lace that elongate the silhouette. A very architecturally inspired art deco gown.
From the insets the skirt falls freely in gathered layers with the bottom layer being open at the center front and back to reveal a bit of leg. Simple capped sleeves just skim the tops of the shoulders and lace falls from the shoulders giving the illusion of a shawl collar in the back. Side closure with snaps, fully lined in black crepe.
The overall condition is excellent with no rips, holes, stains or repairs.
