Liberty London 20s Flapper Cloche
Yes, that Liberty & Company, better know as Liberty of London. This flapper cloche would have been fashionable daywear in the 20's and came from the original store on Regent Street.
Concentric rows of stitching creates heart motifs on this 1920s Liberty & Co., silk velvet cloche. The stitching is carried across the narrow brim and a self band is decorated on the right side with a rhinestone encrusted pin. Lined in bronze silk twill with the Liberty label sewn in the back.
Condition is very good to excellent with only the most minor wear and soiling to be noted within the lining and very slight loss to the velvet along the back edge of the brim. The fabrics are strong and sound and the hat is quite serviceable.
