1920s Embroidered Duster Coat
Simply tailored, this embroidered raw silk coat from the 1920's is an update on the classic duster and quintessential art deco. Wrapping asymmetrically with a large button and loop closure and single interior snap. The collar, cuffs, patch pockets and wide band around the hemline are all heavily embroidered by hand in silk floss. The effect is simply beautiful.
Overall condition is excellent with the only flaw being a very slight bleeding of the silk floss onto the raw silk. It is faint and only noticeable when you are looking for it up close, but mentioned for accuracy. Does not effect the wearability or beauty of the coat at all.
